Wallis Photo LLC is in fact Jason Wallis (with an "is" not "ace" at the end). I have lived in the OC for the last 10 years and shoot for a lot of magazines (Orange Coast, Damsel, Blisss) and advertising clients (Juxt Agency, HP, Qualcomm and Cisco).
Yes I photograph real people also and even do weddings (shock! horror!) and families. We are in a recession after all and this is not NYC. No one can just do fashion here. Weddings and families pay the mortgage and allow me to do the more creative shoots.
Yes, some of the models really do "look like that"... most don't (Photoshop). Does my wife get upset? No we have been together a long time.
No I am not from Australia -and don't worry, that doesn't offend me... I am from New Zealand. Why would I leave "such a beautiful place"? California is the land of opportunity and I love the weather and access to the surf!
